Dr. Emily A. Keshner
Emily A. Keshner, PT, EdD is a Professor Emeritus in the Department of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences at Temple University. She created the Virtual Environment and Postural Orientation (VEPO) Laboratory to study sensorimotor integration and postural control with aging and CNS disorders. Her current research is funded by NIH and focuses on developing technologies to prevent injury from falls. She has an interdisciplinary approach to research and has built a team of collaborators that include physiologists, biomechanists, computer scientists, and bioengineers.
